BIOGRAPHY

Professor Dr. Jihyun Hwang is the Head of Hydrogen Energy at the Korea Institute of Energy Technology and Managing Director of the Fraunhofer Innovation Platform–H2Energy@KENTECH. With over two decades of experience, he leads research in hydrogen and LNG process engineering, focusing on liquefaction and storage technologies.

Jihyun oversees the HYLOT R&D Lab, developing solutions for hydrogen production, storage, and clean fuel projects. His international background spans South Korea, the United States, the Netherlands, and Germany, advancing innovations in hydrogen, LNG, ammonia, and carbon capture systems.
